A scarecrow and a hockey player walk into Sanitas
The Babes decided to visit Sanitas over the weekend for the brewery's Halloween Bash! Sanitas was one of the first breweries we visited and has stayed in the top five. You can check out our original experience just to see how good it was here: READ NOW. Sanitas Halloween Bash included fun for all ages. From 1-3 pm, there was a children's costume contest with the adult costume contest following a little later at 7 pm. For the adult costume party, the first place winner received free beer for a whole year, the second place winner won a free case of beer, and the 3rd place winner won a free six pack of their choice! They also offered their pumpkin beer limited release! With the Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band starting the party and DJ Elise closing it out, there was never a dull moment at the bash (yes, that means we were there for hours and stayed until close 😏) There was also a winter coat and can drive. If you brought in a winter coat or non perishable food item, you got a ticket for 50% off your next beer. It was a jam-packed day of fun for sure and we cannot wait until next year's Halloween Bash!
One of Alisa and Stephanie’s favorite things about Sanitas, besides the amazing beer, is how involved it is with the community and how much of a community place this is. It is perfect for a fun day with friends sitting outside near the fire at night, or riding your bike for the train beer when the train comes around! Even though it seemed Sanitas was the go-to place this weekend, they followed Covid guidelines making sure everyone could celebrate safely.
Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band
The Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band made the whole night! They even had Hans Solo on trombone. The band was so interactive and played awesome covers that got everyone on their feet singing and dancing. The cold didn't even phase the crowd. Between drinking beer and enjoying the music, it was the perfect way to celebrate.
